Another struggle of one who has insomnia consist of someone who cannot fall asleep even when very tired and are not able to fall back asleep once waken up. Typically someone who has insomnia will experience headaches (Ehrlich, 2016), from not having enough sleep or waking up frequently. Not feeling refreshed after sleep happens commonly to individuals who have insomnia, this is due to not have a normal amount of sleep per night. Since individuals experience trouble falling asleep and staying asleep, one will experience anxiety when it is time for them to fall asleep (Ehrlich, 2016). During the day daytime drowsiness is a typical symptom for insomnia (). Being tired throughout the day, due to having a lack of normal sleep, causes one to have trouble concentrating on task and their normal routines. Since individuals have trouble concentrating on task they often make more errors, mistakes, and accidence throughout their day, this can be due to being sleepy and drowsy from the insomnia as well (Ehrlich, 2016).
