“Ohio is putting off executions until at least 2017 as the state struggles to obtain supplies of lethal injection drugs, delaying capital punishment for a full two years, the prisons department announced Monday” (Welsh-Huggings). On a serious note theirs is no justification for the prison department to be waiting for this drug, and the states should be prohibited from making demands like those. There is many other options out there that can used for the executions. For example, the gas chamber, electrocution and hanging all depending what state the killing will be done. The reasonable option in my opinion is just taking away capital punishment. Abolition of the capital punishment will benefit the country in many ways. In my perspective it will save the country a lot of money. All the money that is being used on trying to get hold of the drug can be used for a positive outcome of the country. Also I believe that having someone in jail for a very long time or lifetime will have an inmate unhappy for the rest of his life because they have lost
