Second, I made an outline for the informative speech. The outline had 3 parts: introduction, body and conclusion. The introduction consisted of attention getter, reason of listen, thesis statement and preview of main points. For my speech about the Sojourner, I got attention with a fact from the Milwaukee Homicide Review Commission about the relationship between intimate partner homicide and family abuse in Milwaukee in 2016. And reason of listen was that I was a victim of family abuse and anyone is more likely to be a victim of domestic abuse, especially women and children.
