Informative Speech On Roman Gods

Not all of the Roman Gods are new. Most Roman Gods came from Greek Mythology. So many of the stories will sound familiar. I find five of them interesting. Let me tell you why.

First, Cupid is the Roman God of Love. According to myth, Cupid was the son Mercury, who was the winged messenger of the gods, and Venus, the goddess of love. Cupid is often pictured as an infant with wings and a bow. He is sometimes pictured wearing armor like that of Mars (god of war). Cupid’s symbol is a bow and arrow. In Greek mythology, the god of love is called Eros. Both are often shown as child-like with a bow and arrow.

Next I’ll tell you about Pegasus. Pegasus is the winged creature from Roman Mythology. Pegasus was the son of Neptune , king of the sea,
