Informative Essay On Baby Animals

Have you ever thought that something was going to be really easy, but it actually turned out to be really difficult? Well, if you did, then you must've felt similar to the way I did when I raised a baby kitten on my own, a couple months back in July of 2015. It had all started when my mom and I bought a 4 week old Siamese kitten. We had to buy her litter and milk prior to us picking her up where we bought her. She ended up sleeping in my room. During the first week, it was very hard, similar to a newborn baby. She woke up at night, I had to bottle-feed her, and I was so exhausted. At first, I was hesitating whether or not we should keep her, or give her away, because of the fact that she was so much work. My first six-word memoir was based …show more content…
This really taught me the responsibility of raising a baby animal, and will give me the knowledge of a baby animals needs, which are somewhat similar to those of a human baby. After this, I got familiar with the kitten, which is now named Lucy, and her needs, as well as the behavior of a baby kitten, which when you think about it, is not even as bad as how a newborn baby is to their parents, as they require about ten times as much responsibility than a cat. My memoir can apply to hundreds of events throughout others' memories and actual events. It actually applied to when my dad and I cut down a tree, because the roots were going under our house, and I had completely underestimated how hard it was going to be, and it was one of the hardest things of my life. This is what has helped me think of my first six-word memoir. The theme would be to not judge something you haven't gotten familiar with. My first memoir is actually similar to my other one, as they both have to do with me judging something I haven't really been familiar with. In conclusion, you should never underestimate. Secondly, let's move on to my second

Patricia Hampl’s “Memory and Imagination” provides a coherent insight about what a memoir consist of. Hampl begins to explain that a memoir is “a matter of transcription,” meaning that one has the power to present what details they choose to share. As a memoirist, you soon begin to question whether your memory is a reliable source or if your mind filled those empty gaps with desirous details. However, those memories that we simply remember must have been part of a life-changing moment that was not apparent to us at that moment. Although one intended goal could be accuracy, writing a memoir could help one discover what they know compare to the assumption of what happened.…

As we all know, the theme of a story is the lesson that is being taught throughout the novel. But a theme can also be the subject of a talk, a piece of writing, or a person's thoughts. All stories have a theme, but they may not always be directly stated. This requires readers to dig deep down into the text and analyze the lessons that they have acquired through the book. Between the two excerpts, "Angelas Ashes" and "The Street", there is common theme that perseverance is important when times get tough in life.…

Animal testing has been a part of our society since the early 1900s. And it appears to me, that not until around 40 years ago or so, people began to realize that testing animals was inhumane on many different levels. But because we are the human beings that we are, we still try to shy away from a lot of the negative consequences of animal testing. It is easier for us to push aside that which is bad and try only to look at the positive aspects. Yet, in my opinion, the cons outweigh the pros.…

Although some animal activist advocates for animal rights, there are limits to that right because animals cannot be equal with human. They don’t have the intellectual ability that humans have to take responsibilities and control what happens around them. These animals are important in the society and the need to treat them with respect is paramount.…
