We first decided on which type of program would be best for our use and which company would be best suited for our current and future needs, as we were moving forward. One of many detailed items we need to do was to choose a group of highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated nurses that were willing to help in the development and implement of this new technology. Lucky for me, I may have this opportunity, since the hospital I worked for was bought out by a larger medical group and will be switching to a new program within the next 5 years that will put them online with their other hospital. As long as I stay focused, move forward in my education and follow my goals, I have faith that at some point I …show more content…
Informatics is not just a hospital or clinic based computer program but includes health related internet sites for institutions like the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention), NIH (National Institute of Health) and WHO (World Health Organization) that provide a wealth of informative health related information that can be accessed by doctors, nurses and other medical personal. These organizations will forever be updating and editing their information, and the use these site and of all other types of informatics systems will forever be helpful as advancements in the medical field continue
