Inequality in these area’s mean that there is a lack of social entertainment, unfair political intervention or financial standing limits material possession (Hong, Y. C. 2001). Certain circumstances in individuals lives initiate deviant behavior. For example, social standings can produce rebellious individuals. This is important information for the prosperity of society. Reestablish the meaning of deviance, behaviors that violate specific norms. Norms are a set of beliefs that a society thrives on. If deviant behaviors are forced and accepted by individuals one could say that the current generation now is a group of deviants. The reason being is because the youth are being taught to be defiant (Hong, Y. C. 2001). This can range from walking out of class to talking back to adults and other guardian figures. Usually talking back to an adult is an act of defiance just because it is a universal norm. Every country in the world honors this norm. However, American society has become so deviant in acts that talking back to adults, is becoming the new norm. This was a forced behavior. Parents began to teach their child to not let anyone talk any kind of way to assert self in all situations. Respect for adults is minimal in today society, 30 years ago these acts were unseen or heard
