Influence In Mrs. Flowers's Life

Mrs. Flowers actions are like a lifeline to Marguerite because they helped Marguerite understand that she is loved and that her words have meaning. According to paragraph five on page 229 Marguerite says “She was one of the few most gentlewomen I have ever known…” On page two-twenty three the author states “...Mrs. Flowers had singled me out for attention…”. This proves that Mrs. Flowers had made a huge impact on Marguerite’s life.
