Infertility is the inability to conceiver after a year or more of trying. For a couple who hopelessly wished to conceiver, the road to parenthood may be frustrating. Approximately 1 in 10 couples in the United States experience infertility. About 20% of these cases are due to the male partner, 30-40% are due to both partners and the rest is due to the woman.
