In the section of the book, the author argues based on how the judicial system is extremely harsh on the black community than any other race, seeing or given all the numbers and statistics that are given throughout the section, it is clear that most black defendants that are tried for a crime are resultantly going to end up with a harsher verdict and sentence that a white man would never have been able to receive in their lifetime. The section also refers to how most black people are falling to be victims of homicide and the system does nothing i it’s power to sentence the guilty with a reasonable sentence if they were white,. However, if the victim was white and the suspect was black, we are most likely to believe that that defendant would end up receiving a death penalty for killing a white man while a white man can walk free for pleading “self-defense” when there was no hard being done to the defendant. The result of all these death penalties and inequality between cases that distinguish significant differences between black people and white people proves on how the justice system in each state needs to change from
