Industrial Revolution Effects On America

The Industrial Revolution had its effects on the United States by machines taking over people. This was a time period where machines were taking people's jobs or you had have to work with machines. Some machines were very dangerous, so the people who worked with them had to be very careful. The Industrial Revolution changed many people’s lives simply by not working as hard. This changed the lives of many slaves by not having to pick so much cotton everyday, but luckily enough their was now a machine for that. The machine was called the cotton gin and what that did was pick cotton almost ten times as faster than a human can, and that caused the North to not have so many slaves. The Industrial Revolution affected woman by not having to weave and cook and do anything of that sort at home. Their were machines for almost every human job. …show more content…
People's lives had been so much easier by these machines, it’s like what I said earlier that they are making a machine for just about everything. This caused many people to flood the country and places became overpopulated and some places were becoming states because so many people are now living
