Thus it is the link between the rest of North America and South America. The government system is a federal republic. The chief of state and head of government is the president. Mexico has a free market economy. Mexico is a member of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Individualism vs. Collectivism
The individualism vs. collectivism dimension is a degree to which people are integrated into groups. An individualism society stands for a society in which an individual has a ‘self’ or an ‘other’ orientation. An individualistic orientation reflects a lifestyle in which the person is generally more concerned about personal achievement and autonomy, a culture which is more collectivistic oriented are caring more about helping others of their group to success in exchange for encouragement and support.
Mexico clearly is a collectivistic oriented culture and has a strong group orientation, which you can derive out of the individualism score (30) in the Hofstede study.
Mexicans are committed to their relationships with family and group members.

Cultures with a high uncertainty avoidance tries to avoid uncertainties with strict rules and assesses the chaotic and unstructured situation as a threat for life, however countries with a low uncertainty avoidance don’t stress themselves with that situation as the uncertainty is an inherent part of life.
Mexicans are very conservative and structure bound. In working life, the employees have adapted and implemented a bunch of strict rules, laws and policies to counteract falling into the state of uncertainty. Employers also tend to hire known people over unknown because if not it would bring along unexpected risks. It’s also common for employees to stay in the same job for several years or even a lifelong even if they’re dissatisfied with it, because a change of the workplace also is a situation the people want to avoid.
