Also when you tell them something regarding your crazy weekend they’ll just giggle along, and you never have to worry about them gossiping. They’re also notorious for getting an additional coffee only for you, and they know just how you like it. The following illustration is of a colleague that takes their jobs too seriously. You'll rarely catch them making mistakes, and you can tell just by looking at what their wearing, that they mean business. This individual also has sufficient energy to kiss up to the boss; whether that’s by bringing an espresso for him, showing up an hour early, or by the way they casually toss co-workers under the bus to make themselves look good. They are continually gossiping about their "less equipped" colleagues, and will insist that they deserve a raise for all their diligent work. I remember completing my shit as usual, and as I punched out my card I noticed that one employee seemed to be running late and the only cashier on shift at the time seemed to be struggling to deal with the customers. The customer seemed to be arguing with my coworker and angry when he received the bill for gas in which he had used up in his boat rental. My coworker seemed to be trying to calmly tell the customer that he had used that much gas and that he needed to pay for it or she couldn't give him back his license. So before leaving through the back door, I made sure to come out and explain to the customer that that was indeed the policy of the marina and even went out the docs and had a dock hand, one who had actually filled up is rental…

Hi Elvin, I had an interesting experience at MBSTP yesterday—I recapped it in my nightly survey, but I just wanted to send an email out to you about this as well: Overall, the General Manager (Chad) and the Executive Housekeeper (Terry) expressed great discontent in the evaluation process as a whole. Both Chad, and Terry exhibited unprofessional behaviors, swore, and were rude in the interactions we shared. In the first guest room, Chad verbally stated: "this makes me so mad, guests' don't care about any of this and neither do I." Terry and Chad told me that I was being inconsistent with their previous evaluations with fairly routine deductions, such as: a long black hair found in the sheets of the sofa bed linens, or rust on the refrigerator. I was told that I had been the first person to visit their property who looked at the sofa bed linens for cleanliness and condition.…

Great truck drivers have basic knowledge of how a truck operates. They can perform repairs as necessary, such as changing a fuse or light bulb, and can do what’s needed to help ensure the truck meets compliance and other safety standards.
