Public affairs include politics, public issues, and the making of public policies which are events and issues that concern the people at large. They could participate by being involved in political parties, voters and voter behavior, the electoral process, mass media and public opinion, interest groups and many others. Political parties are groups of people who try to control government through the winning of elections and the holding of public office.
