Within stepping into an In N Out Burger restaurant, a person is greeted with its white tiled walls, complemented by brightly colored but simple decor. From the cluster of red tables, chairs, and booths, to the classic neon yellow logo that reads, “Quality You Can Taste”, each customer is invited to grab a seat and have a meal. Very much related to the store’s name, its goals and work ethics of an honest American style restaurant that is open to serve every ordinary customer are reflected in the easy-going setting that is presented in every branch. The In N Out Burger restaurant chain projects a very simple look that remains consistent in the design and layout found in all branches. Nothing too fancy or intimidating, it is a welcoming place that is open to serve whoever enters in a simple and speedy manner. In relation to its name, each customer enters the restaurant to just go in and then out, getting what they came to a restaurant for, food. Looking at the restaurant’s mission statement, found in their website, they aim to “maintain [their] high levels of customer service and quality standards.” Simply presenting to the customers what they can get, and allowing them a wide array of specifications and extra preferences for reasonable prices, customers’ needs are met as they are given the simple service of food that they ask for. Additionally, the quality that the restaurant prides itself in is evidenced by the authentic image that I described earlier with the open faced kitchen. With health reasons being a constant concern, it is important for the restaurant to be honest with the service that they provide.
