Realising one’s own strengths and weaknesses gives individuals a better understanding of how they function (2). They would be able to narrow down concrete job scopes based on the things they know they are good at. Knowing what one can excel at enables students to aim higher and achieve much more. Based on studies from Holland’s Theory, in our society, most people are one of six personality types: Authentic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. Some refer to these as Holland Codes or RIASEC (2). People who opt to work in an environment similar to their personality type are more liable to be prosperous in their career choice (2). Prosperity in an Artistic environment is more likely to be achieved if said person is more artistic.
