The last point about adequate rest is truly important to me because I believe that if you are not well rested, then you will not have a positive day, furthermore you will not be able to achieve any exercise or eat properly which are two major factors that play a big part in physical health. Starting off with exercise, if both and children and adults are not active on a daily basis then this can cause conditions like: coronary heart disease, strokes, high blood pressure, breathlessness, flabby body, little energy, stiff joints, osteoporosis, poor posture, overweight. ~ diseases referenced from ‘BBC World Service, Healthy Living’; no exercise can also quite possibly lead to obesity. Obesity can also occur when your diet is unbalanced and you consume too much of one particular food group like sugar or fats. This leads me on to my next topic, which is diets and nutrients. An unbalanced diet is when someone eats too little or too much of the suggested food groups. If this is a regular habit for people that the causes could be: anorexia, obesity high blood pressure, diabetes, tooth decay, coronary heart disease, hypertension, osteoporosis, malnutrition and osteoarthritis. An unbalanced diet also has short-term risks such as poor sleep, mood problems, heartburn, indigestion and poor brain function. A huge portion of poor health can come from alcohol and drugs because they are not supposed to be contained by the human body. In many cases, a high dose of any drug or alcohol can be very unsafe for your body. Some short term effects of this can include: Slurred
