Reflective Essay: My Personal Brand Core Values

Personal brand core values are the values we value, stand for and conduct our life. I would like others to think of me in a way that brings honor to God, therefore my values are religion, honesty, integrity, accountability, loyal, teamwork, love, family.
Religion: Ethical principles that are based on the God’s word.
Honesty: “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much” (Luke 16:10).
Integrity: A person with integrity makes tough ethical decisions and would not compromise in any situation.
Accountability: A person who is accountable is a someone you can count and rely on.
Loyal: It is when a person is faithful, supportive and devoted to an organization or person.

First, the process could be achieved with the development of “a coherent narrative that explains exactly how your past fits into your present” (Clark, 2011). For example, I have been my manager’s backbone or behind the scene advisor when it comes to work related decision. In a conflict situation, I try to resolve the problem to keep the unity of the team and to avoid domino effect. Beside work experience, my life journey has been interesting. Since, I grew up in Ethiopian and attended a French school, it gives me the advantage of speaking three languages; which are English, French and Amharic (Ethiopian Language). Further more, I can relate and understand multiple cultures, whether it is American, Ethiopian, Indian or Japanese. Second, individual values are reflected in our daily work life. I believe in higher calling and for that reason, I always thrive to do my best and my work ethic is based on “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31) and “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters” (Colossians
