The benefits of public speaking will also be detailed in this section. This section will look into the benefits of public speaking courses which is separated into three types of benefits which are developing critical thinking skills, fine-tuning verbal and nonverbal skills, and overcoming fear of public speaking. The benefits of engaging in public speaking, developing leadership skills, and becoming a thought leader, will also be detailed. To start off with, the first aspect of the importance of public speaking is everyday public speaking, every single day people around the world come across a situation where they stand up in front of an audience and speak, there are many types of public speeches happening around the world, but generally it can be grouped into three categories which is based on the intention of the speech, these categories of speech are informative, persuasive, and entertaining. The informative type of speech is one of the most common categories of public speaking. The idea behind this category is that informative speakers share their knowledge with their audiences. An example of informative speech can be teachers, teachers are standing in front a group of students every day and sharing their knowledge with students in order to educate them, teachers can also find themselves presenting knowledge to parents as well as to their students. Informative speaking is generally incorporated into numerous different professions and as an outcome, learning how to speak effectively has become a crucial skill in today’s world. Moving on to the next type of speech which is persuasive speaking, it is the second most common reason behind speaking. Usually in our everyday lives, we are generally put in a situation where
