The purpose of this speech is to speak for every childs right to education and to those who can not raise their voice. As said in her speech:
”Today is the day of every women, every boy and every girl who have raised their voice for their rights.”
Malala´s message becomes clear when she says the quotes that is written above because she summarize what they whole speech is about which is for the people who have raised their voice for their rights but Malala speak for those who do not dare or can. Their right is to go to school, to speak up for themselves and to know their own worth.

Recapitulation = Remember what the speaker have said. The second last part of it she discusses what we want and what we need to do to solves these problems i.e. education, women's rights etc. She does this to sum up what she´s said in order for the audience to remember it.
Peroratio = Closure/Closing part. Malala says ”Dear brothers and sisters” following by ”we must not forget” 3 times followed again by important sayings from her speech such as people are suffering, children don't go to school and lastly and most positively that there is a bright, peaceful future ahead. The absolut last part in her speech she ends with her famous words ”One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world. Education is the only solution. Education first. Thank you” to sum the speech up.
Malala´s ethos ,which is the credibility to speak, is when she say that it is an honor for her to be here at the UN and also that she is wearing the shawl of the late Benazir Bhutto which she is very grateful to wear almost like a cape for a hero.

She uses the worldwide known saying ”The pen is mightier than the sword” to introduce the listeners to what she is going to say next that the extremists are afraid of education.
She then tells the audience that they are afraid of women and the power of women and then explain why they are killing and blasting schools. She started of with a wise saying and then arguments and the last an anecdote about a boy who was asked by a journalist ”Why are the Taliban against education” the boy answered by saying ”A Talib doesn't know what is written inside this book”. Her anecdote ended the argument moreover it proved why her arguments were right, she took a real example of a boy and his answer to prove that what she is saying is true.
