How To Extend Life Essay

Extending the human life span has been a big topic amongst scientists and researchers. Scientist believe that humans could live to be over 100 years which some people have achieved a life span of a little over 100 years. Scientists have worked on a pill that could be the answer to that very question. It is believed that once that pill is created could extend the life of the person who is taking it. That will be a major breakthrough in the world of science and could lead to a change in the average person’s life. Another possibility is extending a person’s life over 150 years of age. Research has been conducted and results have shown that people could very soon be living to be about 150 years old and possibly live to be even older than that and be able to enjoy life longer. Living forever isn’t always a good thing with a couple of problems that could arise. One of the problems could be over-population, if almost every person has an infinite life span that could lead to problems with over populating the earth since they would be living forever. Another problem brought up is the cost of the pill that extend a person’s life span. Many people cannot afford to pay too much for products, so that could be a huge problem for people who do not have much to spend on something that important. Many more problems could arise if something is created that could lead to someone living longer or possibly even live forever, but we won’t truly know that until we make a big discovery on the topic of extending a humans overall life span than what it currently is at.
