But now family, friends, and teachers have made it a point that a college degree is so crucial. With the economies job rates in pay not always being its best and the qualifications of getting a job becoming harder each year it 's no wonder a degree is so crucial. But most of the best paying jobs that give you benefits for your future and income are some of the jobs that require you to have a BA or MA. It states in "What 's the value of a college degree?" that, "access to college is what distinguishes the middle class from low-income Americans. People with at least some college education stay in the middle class or move up." But that also, "Over the next decade, there will be 31 million job openings that will require at least some kind of education." Thus, meaning that for those who don’t have a college education it would be harder for them to move up the social ladder to oppose a person who graduated from college and in turn has a better chance on moving up from middle class. Not only that, but many jobs have required you to have some form of education and that with a college degree you have a greater chance of a better income.
