The symbols of food in Viet Nam are Pho and Bun Cha (are two most famous foods among many local specialties) of the northern Vietnam, etc. The ingredient that use by a lot of Vietnamese are rice, fish sauce and vegetables. Northern Vietnamese cuisine is not bold in any particular flavor - sweet, salty, spicy, bitter, or sour. It’s the combination of the harmony and ingredients. Vietnamese cuisine is reflective of the Vietnamese lifestyle from the preparation to how the food is served. Going through long history of war and political conflicts, as well as cultural shifts, Vietnamese people have been living in poverty and famine during 1945. It occurred in northern of Viet Nam when Japanese invaded of French Indochina in World War II. At that time, between 400,000 to 2 million people death because of the starvation. Cuisine can define a country's culture as well as the others culture. One of them could be religion. Food is an important part of religious observance for many different faiths. As an illustration, Muslims is popular religion that has been following by million people around the world. If you’re following Muslims, you must following their diet. Muslims generally don't eat pork or that they do eat goat and lamb. Conversely, in Islam’s, all food are allowed include porks, alcohol, and any products that made from pork or other products made from another animal is not Halal is forbidden. As a result, food can also show us the religious of the followers. In my opinion, in many cultures, proper habits of eating and drinking are very important; there are always a few basic rules that are important to follow. For example in Korea, when you’re having meal with the elderly, you must let them to eat first because it shows the respect to them. Another rule is you cannot hold the bowl in your hand during the meal. In addition, Japan is a country that really strict about table manners. Going in the toilet while you’re eating means the food isn’t delicious and appreciated for most of people, it also considered bad manners to burp [5]. Each countries have their own table manners that really affects how people think about you, there are many rules you must follow when you come to their country. Finally, we can determine some values of the cuisine. Food traditions
