The amount of the elderly is said to increase by 135%. The number of older adults ranging from 85 and older is predicted to increase by 350%. These statistics mean that the amount of the elderly needing health care will increase, and nurses will be seeing more of them the years to come. In order to develop effective strategies that can be used at a hospital nurses should make an effort into understanding the values, norms, and needs of their co-workers.
