Importance Of Careers In Psychology

As a psychology Major I came to realized, it so many different types careers I can be a part of. At the time I did not know what specifically what I want to with my major, but I do know I wanted to have a minor that may work with my major in my future career. I decided I would like with children, because I do have few experience with children. Thus, I decided to make early childhood as my minor because I would be able to learn how to work with children in school setting and what I should excepted.

I came into the class clueless about having to pay for the fingerprints in order to observe children. I thought if anything I just needed a college letter stating what I need to for this course. I may have hated the fact I had to personally pay for my fingerprints, but in the long run it going to be beneficial since I already have an interest to work with children in schools. As I read my AHAs I realize I worry a lot about time management and getting my work done. I always felt as if I wait to last minute, I would never get my assignments done. For this course I stress more on getting the observation. I

For instance, I like the Pestalozzi concept on early childhood education, due to the fact I felt he was ahead of his time. I like the fact he wanted both boys and girls to be educated and not let his religious beliefs get involved in children learning. It is impressive to see someone make a change even though people around them are not ready to make that dramatic change for the better. Other philosopher I enjoyed writing about was Froebel, I never thought about who created kindergarten, or meaning of the word.
