Immigrant Student Experience

I enjoyed the readings for this week on the topic of international and immigrant students with relation to my own experiences as an immigrant. From the readings and my own research of qualitative studies on these groups of students, international and immigrant students, to a certain extent, share some aspects of student experience in PSE in terms of language and cultural barriers, which may hinder student development and success. But, I would like to focus my reflection on immigrant student experience.
As we have discussed during our first lecture, one story cannot represent the whole population in that group. Immigrant students from one country would have different stories than the ones from another country, especially with different cultural
