Ignorance In Brave New World Essay

Ignorance. Some say it’s bliss, others say it's stupidity. In my words, ignorance is not bliss. Why? Because wouldn’t you want to be aware of the world around you? Or would you simply be clueless. As we know, in brave new world, they were focused on stability rather than development. in real life, we focus on evolution, on growth, on enlarging our character. The effects will include that if you know your defects, you will become a better person, shutting down the problems will cause more problems and there will be a lack of knowledge.

Some believe that being ignorant about a circumstance will lead to a peaceful mind. There were also monogamy and romance.” ( Brave new world, Aldous Huxley). This means there was a sensation of love and relationship between them. A similarity between brave new world and real life is being aware when someone does or doesn't love you. Let’s say you have a partner. That partner is cheating on you and you’re not even close to being aware of it. This is ignorance to you. If you choose to be aware of it, the outcome will be that you can leave that person and find yourself someone who values you. On the other hand, if you don't choose to be aware, you're hiding from your problems and you're too scared of the consequences you’ll have to face to fix the issue.
