When planning for the future of students with disabilities, one may experiences many concern because we do not know what the future holds. Transition services are established in order to prepare student to make a successful transition from school to post-school life. Transition services include many components such as:
• Design instruction- instruction will be given to students to build the skills that are required in order for them to achieve their post-secondary goals. Instruction will be given to meet the student academic needs but courses may be taking from the general or special education classes depend on the need of the student.

When the student is 16 the transition planning must begin, it can even start earlier if decided by the IEP team. This planning is a part of the IEP process and it requires the participation of the both the students and his or parents in order for the development of this transition plan to be effective, also it must be reviewed and edited in a yearly basis. The transition process is student centered; it designed to meet all the needs of the student. It will include student postsecondary goals which are long terms dream that will be necessary for future living, employment, and education. With such exercises, they will be able to gain real life experiences and also practice the skills they have learned. For instance, when student are preparing to transit into adult life they do not only provide them with the courses and teach them the skills but they are also expose to certain situation where instructors are able to determine how well they have acquired and whether they are ready to go out there on their own and apply those skills.
