From the moment I could intelligently formulate and communicate a thought my parents strongly promoted me to think for myself, especially when I began attending school. Whether that be through avoiding peer pressure by not trusting a thought or action based on what others did or even through my school work by being able to interpret the problems teachers gave me independently without dishonest reliance of my peers. Throughout my life these lessons remain relevant today, urging your child to formulate their own thoughts from an early age is highly beneficial because it prepares them for an honest and successful academic career as well as preventing them from taking part in careless decisions.
