An example under HSI directorate of this mutual communication between agencies under ICE is the intelligence office which works closely with other federal, state, and local agencies. In this regard the intelligence office works with the use of information from other agencies to perform an analysis in the tasking of assigning intelligence analysts to look at targeted crimes such as financial crimes, counter-proliferation, narcotics.
