On September 20, 2017, Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico at exactly 6:15 am. It sustained winds at one hundred fifty five miles per hour. Puerto Rico got hit with thirty hours of rain. This hurricane was considered a Category 4, but was nearly considered as a Category 5. The Category 4 turned out to be quiet a catastrophe. The money damages it caused were no electric, no clean water, blown out windows and doors, trees,signs knocked down, houses destroyed, landslides, and injury and/or deaths.
