I’ve accumulated patient contact hours through multiple venues. I worked at a rehabilitation center where I’ve dealt with geriatric patients and helped patients with daily living activities. Couple months afterwards, I applied at Memorial hospital where I can provide patient care to a more diverse group of patients. It was here that I experienced a difficult situation regarding patient care and interpersonal relations. Hurricane Irma caused devastation throughout Florida and the aftermath tested my abilities to be an efficient healthcare team member.
