The Broken Collarbone
I was playing hockey in Negaunee. My team and I were playing against a team from Houghton and it was my first time playing against this team. This is my second year playing bantam meaning I was used to hitting and being hit so hitting the boards was not a big deal. We were winning 4-3 and I had a chance to move my way up the ice with the puck. I play on Defense meaning I am not usually the one who skates the puck up and scores. I made my way up the ice and past the first defender and I only had one more guy to beat. I made a move to get around him, but he followed me and gave me a shove. I was so excited and almost couldn't control myself. When I found out I was going to get to see my favorite band live in concert. I freaked out It all started with my dad talking about how he wanted to get work off to go on a little trip. I had no idea what kind of trip he meant but I just went along with it. He asked me what my thoughts were about heading to a place called Mt. Pleasant and go to the Soaring Eagle casino and go to a concert and he would take me and my sister and his girlfriend would go with. I thought it sounded pretty cool but when I found out who is going to this concert. I lost my mind. It ended up being my favorite band Avenged Sevenfold. My dad told me that he was planning to go sometime that year but I never knew it would be that soon. This would end up being my third concert that I have been to. The last concert I went to was an event not just a single concert meaning that there was bands not just two. It was a long ride all the way to Mt. pleasant. About 2 and a half hours. After the drive we reached our hotel and unpacked our things and had to get ready because the concert was in the afternoon. The day of the concert was 7/16/15. I was not used to the big crowds of people. Thousands of people in such a small area all to see some random dudes playing instruments and singing. Crazy is the only word to describe it. We got really good seats almost 10ft away from the stage. I was shaking. I couldn't contain it
