Throughout the world, over 805 million people suffer from hunger or malnutrition. Every day, Food restaurants and grocery stores throw away food every night before closing. Many Americans waste food every day within their own homes. Hunger has become a world-wide issue that many regions suffer from. There are six main causes towards hunger in poor regions which are poverty traps, lack of investment in agriculture, climate and weather, war and displacement, unstable markets, and food wastage.
