Humanization: The Effects Of Globalization And Human Relations

Globalization and human relations go hand in hand. What does that mean exactly? Globalization affects human relations, as human relations affects globalization. During my research, I have found that globalization involves communication and the cooperation of people around the world. Globalization and human relations coincide with one another because without having the ability to work together, nations could not advance. There are many reasons on how globalization affects human relations, however, I am going to talk about four things I found important: the history of globalization and diversity, social change, communication and quality of life. According to Zakaria, “today, almost one-fourth of the planet’s population, 1.5 billion people, can speak some English… globalization, which brings ever more contact and commerce, creates an incentive for an easy means of communication” (92). Communication is one of the key aspects to the effects of globalization on human relations because without communication, working and living within a diverse nation would be difficult. This was soon realized after years of trading and conducting business between the countries. Countries became more aware of how international relationships was important for their economy, therefore, they needed to devise a means of communication. Communication was vital not only for their economy, but for their people as well. In order to maintain good relations and keep their nation globalized, people needed to know how significant human relations was for their
