Humanism is the study of learning and knowledge of the Classic period. Meaning that many religions did not just study their own religion, they studied many secular religions. One of Raphael's paintings, The School of Athens, exemplifies the Renaissance ideals of humanism. Because Raphael's decided to paint many scholars and important figures from many different times and places, it showed that he was dedicated to learn and understand many other religions and ideas.
