In Class Writing Four Throughout this semester, there have been many aspects that have really sparked my interest. Although this semester is fixing to end, I would love to retake this class just for fun. Also, this class has taught me a lot about giving back to the community and its importance. As, I have been volunteering and participating in classwork, I have finally realized that this is the right career path for me. Having a human service major with a minor in social work will allow me to give back to the community a little more than usual. Even though there will be many difficult situations, I have found the courage to learn to see all aspects of each situation, and treat each individual with respect. One, I have learned that giving back to the community helps you see the world in another perspective. We can see the importance of having nonprofit organizations because they provide the needy with shelters, food, clothing, and valuable information. Also, we can see that the knowledge learned throughout this course will be extremely valuable in the future because we will use this knowledge everyday in our career. Although when I first started volunteering, I was extremely scared that I would learn anything, but I have learned a lot over the last couple months. To me, I feel like I have changed in a positive way, which to me is extremely wonderful. I have looked at life these past few weeks through the eyes of many others, and taken into consideration that life is something we should not take for granted. Being a part of this class, I have learned what it means to give back, and this has set an eager in my heart to continue to give back to others. This amazing learning experience has made me feel unbelievably grateful for everything. I am grateful for life, a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and plenty food to eat. Many individuals cannot say that, which is extremely heart aching. Also, this experience has reassured me that I am in the right career path, and this is a magnificent feeling.
