Part 1: Doomsday
Global warming is real, and, on this track, is bound to kill us. With average temperatures rising over the past years, many plants and animals will die, killing off any sustenance for us. Fortunately, with the correct care, we still may be able to, deter the burning, flooding, and killing of the earth. You may be informed, but you are definitely not alarmed enough.

Often believed to be a hoax, global warming has done nothing but rise over the past few decades. Because of global warming, forest fires have been popping up randomly across the nation. This happens because of heat, which will often spark up dry brush, followed by a forest fire, and massive devastation. On another note, because of global warming, ocean levels are

The fraction of carbon dioxide that we breathe is growing: It just crossed 400 parts per million, and high-end estimates concluding from current trends suggest it will hit 1,000 ppm by the year 2100. At that concentration, compared to the air we breathe now, human cognitive ability reduces by 21 percent.
Other things in the hotter air are even scarier, with small increases in pollution capable of shortening people’s lives by eleven years. By 2090, as many as 2 billion people will be breathing air higher than the WHO “safe” level (WHO 8); one paper last month showed that a pregnant mother’s exposure to ozone raises the child’s risk of autism, which does make you think again about the autism epidemic in West Hollywood.

Very soon, there will be a volcanic eruption in Hawaii, causing massive devastation, not only on houses and communities but on the atmosphere. Volcanic gases, such as sulfur and C02 cause fluctuations in the atmosphere and can stay up in the atmosphere for years. The interesting thing is, is humans still emit more CO2 with human activities than all volcanic explosions, and after a volcanic explosion, the air is completely unbreathable. Just imagine the downfall from

Carbon dioxide emissions continues to be a relevant controversial issue in today’s society. this statement is used so many times and heard over almost everywhere media. However, it is one of the causes of the environmental destruction. Garbage and pollution are the other two major with many minor aspects that all lead to only to one final resolution: desolation of ecosystems and destruction of living conditions for us. With all of that trash and pollution in the world, it is one of the leading effects of methane gas making it into our ozone layer and heating the atmosphere that leads to the degradation of our natural living…

Geographic Perspective “Stabilizing Climate” On a daily basis everything we do relies on energy, fossil fuels. One example is if you want to buy a bagel, in order to get that you have to go to the store in your car and come back home, which emits a lot of fossil fuel that is then emitted into the 80% of the atmosphere. CO2 has been a remaining problem for a long time now. Since, 1976 every decade has become warmer than the previous one, because when carbon dioxide if released into the atmosphere climate change happens which results in higher temperatures.…

It has become clear in recent years that the world has increased in temperature causing major heat waves in different parts of the world. Temperature change can affect the environment in many ways from the ocean, air, and plants including other living things like humans. This transformation is due to greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide being trapped within the earth's atmosphere. This is mentioned in an article by jandro Reuss, feature in the Dollar & Sense.…

The reason why the Earth is at danger is because of the greenhouse effect which then leads to global warming. This is the process by which the atmosphere traps some of the Sun 's energy, warming the Earth enough to support life. Greenhouse gases are increasing the effect of global warming. These gases include carbon dioxide made by fossil fuel burning and deforestation. Over the past 200 years the percentage of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has increased, this was caused by burning large areas of forests to clear land, which means that there is less photosynthesis removing carbon dioxide from the air.…

Global Warming If you ever wanted to see polar bears in the wild, your time is running out. Global warming is causing polar bears, and many other species to go extinct. Global warming, also known as climate change, is the rising of the Earth’s temperature due to greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide, getting trapped in the atmosphere. When the gases can not leave the atmosphere, they absorb radiation and sunlight from the sun and make the atmosphere warmer.…

The average American gives off 17 Tons of Co2 a year just by breathing. While global climate change has been a natural progression, humans need to reduce the amount of emissions released into the atmosphere. Global temperatures have risen 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit since the early 20th century, the ice caps have been melting at an accelerated rate, and sea levels are rising due to this accelerated melting. Deforestation has reduced the amount of oxygen released into the atmosphere while at the same time increasing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. This leaves us with less clean, breathable air.…

Our earth is more vulnerable than people realize it is. Burning of fossil fuels has led to a huge increase in the emission of carbon dioxide. This has resulted in a tremendous change in temperature in the atmosphere. Humans are the ones who invented cars, technology, factories, and many more other mechanics. All these gases that are added into our atmosphere play an important role in contributing towards global warming.…

When talking about disasters, many people imagine great tsunamis, earthquakes, or hurricanes because those are visible threats. Having said that, there is an invisible threat that possesses much greater catastrophic consequences, a threat that humankind has chosen to ignore: carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide levels are increasing rapidly due to human activities, and the climate change caused by these increased levels will have harmful effects on the environment and to society. Background Information Carbon dioxide, chemical formula CO2, is a natural compound composed of two oxygen atoms connected to a single carbon atom. It is constantly being exchanged in nature, between the atmosphere, ocean, and land surface through many microorganisms, plants, and animals in their lives’ behaviors.…
