The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), is responsible to assure the protection of the environment and the people’s health, by providing a clean air and a clean water.
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), is responsible to protect workers against work injury and disease. The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), is responsible to provide accurate information by using the science to prevent people to be exposed to toxic chemicals which can lead to several diseases. How will these standards decrease the hazards in your local community?
Working with the congress by implementing the law, study the environment, to detect any chemical hazards in order to maintain a clean and healthy environment, and reaching out at people about the use of chemical hazards and the impact to the environment and people living
Analyze the factors (such as physical, cognitive, behavioral, financial, and emotional) that can influence your chosen environmental issue. Describe the impact of your chosen environmental issue on a diverse population. Support using examples.
Cleveland area is surrounded by a vast variety of factories where air quality is an issue. Hence, poor air quality has a negative impact on asthmatic, elderly, and children. Children are still growing, for that reason they are breathing and inhale quickly than grownups. For example, during the summer time children are spending the majority of the time playing outside so, they are exposed to the air pollution caused by a high level of smog what increase the threat asthma, and cardiovascular
