After reviewing the department current policies and standard operating procedures, and after conducting several meeting with my team and other departments supervisors, I have came to realize that there is a need to make a few changes to the department policies and adopt a new set of short and long term goals.
Short and long term goals:
1- We will work closely with other department to exchange ideas and establish a new marketing strategy to increase profitability and ensure customers’ satisfaction.
2- Implement a new employee recognition program to coach and motivate our staff and show them our appreciation, which will positively reflect on their performance and encourage ideas and suggestion to help empower them and provide them with the necessary tools to succeed.
3- Adopting new ways and strategies for better communication, thus enabling everyone to be informed and held accountable leaving them with no excuse for poor performances

That said, customers were not made aware of the extended warranty policies that entitles them to continuous coverage and protection from serious and costly damages after the factory warranty expires. Besides the large profit margin these types of warranties brings to the company, they help us earn our customers trust and satisfaction knowing they are taken care of should any unexpected costly repairs
