The Crucible Final Essay In the novella of The Crucible by Arthur Miller we all have gone through experiences that dealt with stress and pressure. The experience that I have gone through recently is learning how to drive. During this time I had a lot of anxiety and I felt as if I were under lots of pressure to get my license. A lot of my friends have already gotten theirs. I felt it was time for me to get mine. The people who I needed to help me was my parents. My dad was the first one to help me with maunerverbily. The way I had to resolve the issue was by practicing with my step mother and to stay calm. I have found out when my step mother got to the outside of the car and helped me decide when to turn the wheel it was very helpful. We did it several times and I would begin to do it without her helping me. I figured out all I needed was a push and a confidence boost. Then telling myself that I can do this and learn to become better. The contrasting part in how John Proctor dies in the end of the novella as for I get my license and pass.“Goody Proctor, your husband is marked to hang this morning” (Miller 138). In the quote it is stating how John Proctor is going to get hanged for being a witch. As the results of him not getting what he had wished for as I overcame my stressful experience in learning to drive. After the experience had happened to me I realized one do not let your dad teach you, let your step mom. Two make sure to believe in yourself and do not give up. This crucible has taught me to breathe a little more and to motivate myself that I can do anything that I set my mind to.
