How To Write An Essay About Groundhog's Day Come To Be?

"If Candlemas Day be bright and clear, there'll be two winters in the year.” according to an old British saying. So what does this have to do with believing in good ol’ Phil’s prediction? Well, for the same reason why people still believe in Santa Claus, just choosing to believe without any doubt just brings animation to the holiday! It’s just fun to believe in these so called “myths” just because it shines a sort of naïve innocence into our dim grown-up lives, let’s face it when we age we lose a part of ourselves; the imaginative part. I can’t help but remember how different I saw life as a child then I do now because of the fact of my mine not being corroded with the truths of a cold world. So how did “Groundhog’s day” come to be?

Groundhog Day: Are You Repeating the Same Patterns? Remember the 1960's Sonny and Cher song "I Got You, Babe?" In the wonderful movie "Groundhog Day," that song is the one that Bill Murray's character, Phil, wakes up to every morning. The first time it happens, he continues on with his day, not sensing any oddities with how his day will unfold. Each subsequent day, however, the song is his indicator that he will be repeating the same day over again.…

Groundhog Day Analysis Happiness is a virtue they say, but how does an individual step away from the selfishness we as humans are programmed to entitle ourselves to. Harold Ramis, director of the movie Groundhog Day (1993) disguises the meaning of life as a dark yet comedic film. This movie may be interpreted as just another romantic comedy where the woman falls in love with the man, but if carefully examined, this film reveals different ways to improve upon personal growth. It also introduces the philosophical concept of eternal return. Ramis sneakily incorporated Nietzsche’s philosophy on eternal return, which essentially is the idea that the universe and everything in and of itself recurs an infinite amount of times.…

The technique in which the director uses to effectively unravel storytelling principles through film editing and intricate camera shots is solely up to the filmmaker themselves. In the 1993 Harold Ramis comedy, “Groundhog Day”, Harold Ramis creatively used the portrayal of time within the film to visually induce the audience into experiencing the life philosophy that Bill Murray’s character, Phil, faces when he is challenged with dealing with the same events on one day as he wakes…

In the words of Ronald Reagan, one of the most respected US Presidents: “Republicans believe that every day is the fourth of July, but the democrats believe that every day is April 15”. This statement made by him implies that he believes that Republican conservatives believe that every day is the 4th of July which is the celebration of our independence, and Democrats believe that every day is tax day, which is a day where the government can come and seize your property. On that note, I am arguing the fact that we need a republican president to serve the next term. This topic is important because it shows the kind of image that the next president should portray and the mark he or she should leave for the next generation. Our last president…
