On a cold crispy morning in New York, a girl named Ellaina was getting ready for school. Her brother,, Jackson was getting ready for work. He is a New York Fire Fighter. Their dog, Doug, had ran away that morning. Jackson and Ellaina were on there way to school and work when Jackson's phone rang. It was his friend John. John is a good friend of Jackson.

He yelled, ''Planes have hit the Twin Towers!''

Jackson hit the gas. By the time they got there, it was a mess with rubble everywhere.

John came up to the car and told them that he thought that he saw their dog run in the towers.

''Oh no!'' yelled Ellaina. ''Is he ok?''

''I don’t know, '' answered Jackson.
