My dad and my sisters came up to me quickly. They told me to get ready because they heard a German soldier say Warsaw is getting liquidated. I packed my clothes and gathered with my family at the door. We headed towards the trains and got on board. I went in a black cattle car with my dad and my sisters went in a brown cattle car. In the way there it was cold everyone didn’t have anything to protect them from the cold. My dad and I got a frostbite in are hands. I slowly went to sleep due to the pain of the frostbite. I woke up and didn’t see my dad by my side. But then I realized there was a “pack” of people in front of me you couldn’t really tell if they were alive or dead. I shouted “who’s there!” nobody responded other than the crickets. …show more content…
They might of thought I was a frozen dead person since I fell asleep in the cattle. It stopped! The cattle stopped! In my head I told myself if they find out I’m alive they wouldn’t mind seeing me suffer ALIVE. The soldiers lit the cattle on fire I kicked open a loose wood that was on fire. The fire didn’t affect me since it was very cold. I waited until the German soldiers left from the cattle. I started running and caught sight of another cattle train that was stopped. When I got closer I saw miraculously found my Father. I gave him a hug and hopped on as it started moving. 2 hours later I looked in between the wood of the cattle and saw the entrance of a place called “Auschwitz”. We entered and many bony bodies stared at us and yelled “get out of here you’ll die” . We went to a shelter where other families were put also. Many of the foods there were worse than the ones in the ghetto. They would serve soup with raw meat that bugs would often get into. It smelled like armpit sweat all over the camp. My father was placed in a factory where he was forced to do slavery work. Unfortunately, my father did something wrong in the factory and was punished to death to what is called a gas

But I found that when they asked the town to come and clean they first showed them crematorium. That was where all the naked, dead bodies were piled up next to the gas chamber. I would like to continue about what happened within the camp for more detail. Yes it is me, reporter Simone, but I was too ashamed not to continue in depth. Our ride from the safe house led us to a concentration camp in Poland. When we showed up there were Jews from all over Europe. As I walked in a sign read “Arbeit Macht Frei” which translates to “Work will set you free”. This was odd and cruel considering that No matter how much we work we will never be set free, that is unless you count dying being set free from life.…

For my Personal narrative I began with a quick brainstorm of many different events that I remembered in detail about my life. I narrowed down the things I would love to talk about rather than other parts of my life growing up that didn’t appeal to me. I set a simple three goals for my Personal narrative to reach by the time I turned in my last final draft. I told myself I would limit grammar errors along with run on sentences. My second goal was to get at least an A- on this paper since it was my first one I have written in a while.…

My love for sports began at an early age. I remember waking up early on Sunday mornings to the crisp sound of piercing whistles and shoulder pads clanking together. I remember waddling out of room, my hair a mess, with my blanket in one hand and my other hand gently rubbing my right eyeball. As I trotted my way down the steps, I would smell a mixture of honey smoked barbeque sauce and burning charcoal. The couch I sat on was made of leather.…

I stared at the dead body facing the floor ; I had finally killed the only person that could ever hold down my wings, the only person who could ever stop my drive, the only person who could ever cease my day. The man I killed at that moment, was the me of before. In ninth grade, I had to fight my academic limitations in order to achieve my full potential. I stood strongly against the forces of fatigue, laziness, and negative thoughts through sheer determination alone .
