I am sorry this happened to you. But, I’m glad to see that you decided to pursue a nursing degree and are happy with the outcome. It is very sad to see these big companies closing their doors without a minimal respect for their employees. In the case of General Motors, 10 years ago, they were actually having a good, profitable year when they decided to close their plants in Michigan, and leave thousands of people without jobs, and families without health insurance.
