How To Prevent Distracted Driving

Wisconsin does not do enough to prevent distracted driving because people are still distracted while driving. However, some may disagree with me because Wisconsin does quite enough by punishing those who break the law. They don’t do quite enough because people’s driving habits haven’t improved. With an increase in technology for people who drive has been quite a distraction. There have been several laws that made the use of cellphones while behind the wheel banned. It has been quite an effort to end distracted driving. However, even with these particular laws drivers can’t seem to leave their phone alone. The first distraction is eating. Eating while driving can be just as dangerous as being on a cellphone. This is really common because that is definitely one of the ways accidents occur. The second distraction is searching for items. People tend to always search for items while driving because they think that they will find it just in time. The third one is combing you hair. People think that they should comb their hair while driving but doesn’t think twice of the consequences that could occur. The fourth on is looking anywhere else besides the road. This is very common and the second close to texting while driving. We know that this isn’t very safe but people do it anyway because they don’t think they would get into an accident. But looking at the road is very important so that you can know and see where you’re going. Not only did thousands die but millions got injured due to someone involved in distracted driving. Some people may think that the state of Wisconsin does a lot to prevent distracted driving due to the laws that are given however I strongly disagree because people can’t seem to hang up the phone when they know it’s time to
