Halloween is just around the corner, many believe that Halloween is not the same without carving pumpkins. By ones self or participating with others, pumpkin carving is an activity associated with Halloween. With all the tools readily available, a pumpkin can be made into a beautiful masterpiece. Carving a pumpkin can be a difficult task; however, with the proper tools it can be made an enjoyable endeavor. To begin this process one must prepare for carving. Picking a pumpkin is essential. Picking a pumpkin of ones liking is very important as well, pick the pumpkin according to what will be carved into it. After choosing the pumpkin, make sure to gather and access all tools necessary for the job. A permanent marker, a sharp, thin knife, and a spoon to scrape the inside of the pumpkin are necessary.
