Do you want to be successful your freshman year of high school? It is important for freshmen to be successful students. It is particularly important for freshmen to be successful because it is your first year of high school. In order for you to be a successful student you must turn your work in on time, study regularly, and you must be willing to ask questions. Most importantly, freshmen must turn their work in on time. Turning work in is important. If a student’s work is late the overall grade for the work will diminish to a 50% plus any points off for doing anything wrong. Even if a student were to achieve a perfect score, they will only receive a 50%. That is why it is recommended to complete your work and turn it in early if possible, …show more content…
Studying is particularly useful, especially since it can help you remember details. By studying, you are repeating information allowing you to remember facts and details. Studying helps prepare you for future work such as tests and it also helps you understand what you are learning in class. Studying before every test, quiz, or exam can help tremendously. This explores the reasons why freshman should study and how it can help. Finally, in order to be successful throughout your high school career, you must be willing to ask questions. Most teachers will be happy to answer any question you have. By simply asking a question you can learn how to do things that before you didn’t understand. Being able to understand what you are taught is a major factor in completing assignments and doing them right. Asking questions is much better than not asking questions and not knowing how to do things. No matter the question, knowing what to do is always a better alternative. This shows why asking questions can be useful. In conclusion, turning work in on time, studying regularly, and asking questions are all key factors in being a successful student.
