Helping The Unspoken
Only a person who loves a challenge would take on patients who can’t tell them where it hurts. Veterinarians often wish that they could speak with animals, because it would make their job easier. Yet through their training and day to day work, they start getting closer to understanding animals, they learn to read animal behavior to try to help them when they are sick or injured. They look for nonverbal signs that indicate pain or suffering. This connection to animals is necessary for individuals who provide healthcare to animals.The job of a veterinarian is very fulfilling. For instance if you are a Highschool student that have plans to be a veterinarian you should take a college preparatory course to help you to when you get to college. In College or the University you go to theirs 3 subjects that will help you Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The minimum education level is the Medical degree. But if you want a higher level there's the D.V.M degree, requires 4 yrs of study or the V.M.D. You will need 45 to 90 hours of undergraduate study. And the applicants must take the MCAT or the GRE. The annual salary of a veterinarian is ranged from less than $53,210 to more than $158,260. Veterinarians working for the government have an annual salary of $88,220. And the average starting salary for veterinary medical college graduates is approximately $52,000.
