We, the freshmen, are the newcomers within this community and we don’t have as much experience due to our newcomer status and we learn all the material we need to know from our teachers. They may speak with more intelligence than the newcomers because of their higher expertise with education as…
After completing my education in literature and politics I became a quaestor which was the lowest ranking magistrate in ancient rome. Since I had become a quaestor I was considered to enter the senatorial status. In 81 AD I married Clauderina Fabia who was sixteen and was the daughter of senator Spurius Fabia Plancus. From my wife family I received a dowry of slaves and many valuables and after marriage we moved to Rome in hopes of promoting to senatorial status. My study in rhetorics and other political experiences were preparations to become senate but there were also other requirements to move upwards into senatorial social class such as acquiring sufficient wealth property worth 1,000,000 sesterces.…
Politics was something that was never passed on to me. My mother, a native Cuban who witnessed the Cuban Revolution at a very young age, and my father, the son of a Pennsylvanian blue-collar worker, have never been deeply involved in politics. They never thought, however, that they would have a son who would be engaged in government. Currently, I serve as the chair of the Florida High School Democrats, the official caucus of High School Students at the Florida Democratic Party. I created this organization to increase awareness of government and to combat voter apathy, a recurring theme within the youth community.…
I appreciate you meeting with me this past week, it was extremely valuable to listen to your insight. As you know I had planned on running for the Freshman Class President position, but after consideration, I feel as if I would be better suited to run for a Freshman Class Senate Position and would request to change the position I am running for. Thank you for this consideration.…

In Student Affairs we can challenge students to think creatively, speak boldly, and lead fiercely in their college careers. Students attend college to gain knowledge and learn at a higher level of thinking, to me that means we must challenge them to adapt and learn more about themselves, the world they live in, and how they would like to fit into the world around them. This concept is greatly encouraged by the Social Change Model of Leadership Development, a framework that encourages students to learn about integrity, authenticity, inclusion, meaning making and collaboration (Komives, 2011). As Student Affairs professionals, we can provide students with leadership experience and challenge their developmental growth through leadership, teaching students that leadership is not only about holding a position but rather the behaviors of working towards shared goals and ideals (Komives,…
My role on the Irvington school campus as a student is to help my friends and others to survive high school. I think my role on the campus consist of setting a good example and becoming a person who others can ask for help from. As a upperclassman, I try help freshmen by introducing them to different clubs and opportunities that relates to their interests. For example, through extracurricular activities such as marching band and badminton, I was able to meet many freshmen and help them by answering questions they have about schoolwork, especially Change. Why is the LINK program important to you?…
Everyday may not be a good day but there is good in everyday. In high school there will be tough times but there will always be someone there that will help other students through it. When in high school some might have a hard time adjusting, but just know that it is okay for them to actually say something and they won’t be judged or anything. In order to be successful in high school, freshmen should always ask for help with teachers or upperclassmen, study for classes and do homework, and get involved with clubs and sports or extracurriculars. Incoming freshmen should always ask for help even if they think that they might not need it they should still ask.…
I think that all the goals were meet at freshman orientation we made them signs that made them excited, we showed them everything about the school so they won’t get lost on the first day of school. Each SGA member talked to a freshman about what they are looking forward to and what they aren’t. Next year, I think we could make more signs and let people hear more about what SGA does with the student body and outside of school, and maybe ask them to join. We also could talk to them about their classes and what they are have to do to pass the class.…
In addition, stakeholders will recognize that I have the best interests of our students at the forefront of all decisions and discussions, further strengthening their trust in me as a leader. In order to support the success of all students, we…
Everywhere high school students continue to drop out. This is a problem that people are aware of, but aren’t quite sure how to put an ease to it. In all high schools annually “over 1.2 million students drop out of high school in the United States alone” (Pedruelo Irene.) High school students should be informed of the significance of their education.…
What was the Most import thing in the reading? “Most: (Schloss, P.J., & Cragg, K.M., 2013) states and lead academe out of its troubles, preferably somebody whose words are not simply rhetoric but rather someone who understand leadership for change.” There should be voices that people have the upmost respect for on campus. It should start with leadership. Leadership has to create an environment that is welcoming for feedback and criticism.…

Now please allow me to share with you the expectation from the school faculty for all freshmen. My first point is about the genuine purpose of education in university.…
Question One Stage One - Forming: On the 8th of February 2016, I started my new Diploma class. All my new class members were reserved and polite, with everyone being on their best behavior in order to create a good first impression. Conflict was avoided at all costs because we all wanted to be accepted into the class. I noticed some of my classmates seemed excited for what lay ahead of us. We all were focused on the task at hand, which was the Disney unit, and about one another.…
